Online Golf Courses from Selkirk College

Register for Nov. 1, 2009 and/or Feb. 1, 2010 online golf management courses

Academic credentials open new career opportunities. And, if you're a club manager who values staff training, you'll know that education provides fast returns in terms of money made, money saved, and workplace productivity. The payback can be as little as four months as staff use the practical skills acquired from Selkirk College's Golf Club Operations Online (GCOOL) Certificate Program courses. That's great ROI.

What manager doesn't want enhanced performance for marketing, tournaments, golf shop operations, special events, human resources tasks, or food and beverage operations? New knowledge = better decisions and fewer errors.

Selkirk College, Nelson, B.C., was the originator of golf management courses in Canada, and it's first again to deliver a certificate program 100% online. The roster of 10 GCOOL courses serve golf club managers and staff members who wish to advance their promotion potential and enhance day-to-day workplace performance.

GCOOL courses enable registrants to study in the off season according to their own schedules. Online learners can also earn as they learn by not having to attend courses on campus. GCOOL career development offerings are available as single courses, or as a complete 10-course certificate program. Each 45-hour course is scheduled over 12 weeks. There are 10 modules in each course; modules typically require 5-7 hours to complete.

Tuition is $575.00, all inclusive, but staff of CSCM and NGCOA clubs qualify for a 10% registration fee discount = $517.50.

Eight courses start Nov. 1, 2009 and run 12 weeks to Jan. 22, 2010; all 10 run Feb. 1 - April 23, 2010 (enroll only for those courses you need)
